How to send

  1. In the WU app: pick recipient country + delivery method + amount.
  2. Alternatively, visit any Western Union branch in the UAE with your Emirates ID and cash / card.
  3. Share the MTCN (10-digit tracking number) with the recipient.
  4. Recipient collects cash at any WU agent in their country — or the money lands in their bank account.

Do I need a WU account to send in cash?

You do not need an online account for over-the-counter cash sends, but you must present a valid ID (Emirates ID in the UAE).
